Ben Lee

American Institute of Architects NJ Chapter

Ben P. Lee, AIA is the current President of American Institute of Architects NJ Chapter (AIA NJ) and Past President of Architects League of Northern New Jersey. He is Managing Principal and CFO at NK Architects a 60 person firm in Morristown, NJ and New York City. He is Registered Architect in 25 States & DC and a Licensed Professional Planner in New Jersey.  For over thirty years, his focus has been in health & wellness design; his planning experience included Architects Renewal Committee in Harlem a community design center, West Paterson Municipal Planning Board and Chinatown Planning Council. Ben’s interest for the communities has made him an advocate at AIA NJ to improve health in the communities through WELL building design and promote connected urban fabric though the design of community public spaces.

Lee has a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Science in Management. He is a Board Certified Healthcare Architect, affiliated with American College of Healthcare Architects, American Society of Hospital Engineers, American Hospital Association, and Healthcare Facilities Management Society of New Jersey. He is also a USGBC LEED accredited professional, FEMA Certification and a member of New Jersey Chapter American Planning Association.
